Simple but Profound

Verse of the day today was Romans 10:9. The one that states what you have to do for Jesus to save your soul. The one that locks in your eternity.

“If you declare with your mouth, “Jesus is Lord,” and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead, you will be saved. For it is with your heart that you believe and are justified, and it is with your mouth that you profess your faith and are saved.”

It is so simple. But I can see how this belief would be hard for some to come to. If you weren’t raised in it from an early age, it takes experiencing the power of God through your own life to get there. It usually takes getting to a very tough or dark place, when you have nowhere else to turn to except to Him.

I was in between for a long time, then hit the hardest time of my life. Since then I have seen God move in extraordinary ways and I have zero doubt about who my Savior is or why I’m here. I pray that everybody gets to this place sooner rather than later.
