Let Go and Let God

Lately, I’ve been intentional about silencing the noise—no distractions, just sitting with my thoughts, inviting God’s guidance. This morning, my mind wandered to my senior year of college baseball—the best game I ever played. I hit two triples: one tied the game, and the other set up the walk-off run that sent us to the championship.

But here’s the deeper part: just before that game, I was in a slump—the worst of the season. I’d been hitting over .375 all year, but those two weeks before the regional, I felt lost. The turning point came when I stopped pressing. I let go of the fear, the overthinking, and decided to trust the skills I’d built. I gave the game—and my mindset—over to God.

The lesson? Sometimes, we push so hard in our struggle that we block our own breakthrough. Faith means trusting that even in the slump, brighter days are already on the other side—if we just let go and let Him lead.
