Daily Verse

Psalms‬ ‭143‬:‭8‬-‭10‬ ‭NIV‬‬

This was the verse of the day over a month ago and I’ve read/prayed it almost every day since. I feel like it covers everything you’d want to pray for to start a day. I’ll break down the way I see it:

“Let the morning bring me word of your unfailing love, for I have put my trust in you. Beginning of every day God’s word reminds me that He loves me.

Show me the way I should go, for to you I entrust my life. Prayer for general guidance, which direction should I go today. Acknowledging that I trust wherever God’s plan is to take me.

Rescue me from my enemies, Lord, for I hide myself in you. There are people or things that will come against me, things from the enemy of my soul. This prayer is for the Lord’s protection.

Teach me to do your will, for you are my God; may your good Spirit lead me on level ground.” Another acknowledgement of surrender to God’s plan and prayer that He guides me in my purpose which is to work for His Glory. This is also a prayer that the Holy Spirit lead and protect me on my path.
