But First, Glory

Updated: Oct 20, 2025

If you’ve ever worked with me, you know I believe baseball is about way more than just mechanics. The swing, the stance, the reps — they matter, but what really drives performance is what’s happening inside. For me, that foundation starts with faith. I’ve seen players chase results and fall short because they never stopped to anchor themselves in something bigger. When you put God first, everything else — the training, the mindset, the success — falls into place. I coach from that perspective because I’ve lived it. Baseball taught me discipline, but faith gave me purpose, and I want every athlete I train to experience both.

My goal isn’t just to help you hit harder or throw faster — it’s to help you build a mindset that lasts beyond the game. We talk about staying balanced at the plate, but real balance starts with knowing who you are and what you’re playing for. Whether you’re in the cage, the gym, or the middle of a tough season, the lesson is the same: control what you can, trust God with the rest. That’s what “But First, Glory” is all about — giving your best effort, but remembering Who the glory truly belongs to. If this sounds like the kind of coaching you need, stick around. We’re just getting started.
